ABOUT ME

A folk/pop songwriter and musical theatre composer, Elyza Tuan is based in Boston. She has been writing songs since the third grade and became enamored with theatre and storytelling at a young age.

She began writing her first musical, Not Anymore, in high school, completing it her sophomore year of college, and she was able to workshop a production of it in the fall of 2024. She is looking to release an album recording of it this summer.

Her writing lives in a blooming world of grief, and she hopes her work helps other people deal with theirs.

​

She also music directs in undergrad (Boston College Theatre Department and student groups) and around the greater Boston area (Weston Drama Workshop, the Footlight Club).
